The Endow Iowa and County Endowment Fund Programs require that all community foundations working with either of the programs to meet or substantially meet the National Standards for US Community Foundations as set by the Council on Foundations in Washington, D.C. These standards can be found in the document NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR U.S. COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS compiled by the Council on Foundations and approved by the Community Foundations Leadership Team.
