About Us

Community Foundation Of Washington County

The Community Foundation of Washington County is a public charity serving all of Washington County with the main thrust of enhancing the quality of life. As a philanthropic organization, we connect you with causes that matter to you - community development needs, education, economic development, the arts, human and social needs.

The Community Foundation of Washington County was formed in 2006 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our community's charitable programs were supported now- and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Community Foundation of Washington County is governed by a local board of directors who are active in our local community. Members of our board of directors are:

Robert Freeman, President, (Wellman)
